Well, whaddaya know? It's snowed in peaceful Somerset, and everyone goes nuts - including me! I took the opportunity to whip the wheels off my mountain board and try to practice for my snowboarding trip in January 06, but I found out it's more difficult that I thought... Anyway, being the sort of person who likes to video everything they do, I video'd (or rather Dave P did) me trying to board down a fairly unsnowy hill at the back of the church. I only managed to stay upright once. Terrible.

I've stuck the video up on t'internet and you can download it either as a high-res 18Mb WMV file or a smaller, lower-res 8Mb WMV file, or even on that there YouTube thing right here, depending on the size of your penis. I mean, the speed of your internet connection. Enjoy!

OK, remember summer? Back when it was sunny, the grass was green, and the air smelt pleasantly of cut grass and cider? Well, back then, Tweeks and his more than willing accomplice stole his brother's video camera and recorded the first of what we hope will be a series of videos - I'd try and describe the wonder contained in this video, but mere words cannot do it justice.

Hey, wow, an update! As you might've guessed, I've been busy over the last few months doing non-Internet stuff because, well, sitting inside on the computer while it's nice outside isn't my idea of fun (yeah, I know, hard to believe, eh?).

Aaaaanyway, I've started a ride diary of my mountain boarding escapades for your amusement - this'll be part of an expanding Sometimes I Fall Down section of the site, where there'll be plenty more videos thanks to my lush MiniDV camera and Adobe Premiere skills (keep an eye out for a video of my experiments with my first ramp!) and all sorts of mountain board stuff. So check back soon, and when some new hosting is sorted out, we'll have loads more videos!

Oh Jesus, a new update. I've been busy and actually updating the site a bit - this time it's just a little page filled with pictures and a couple of videos of the latest craze to sweep the whole nation. Mountain Boarding. You're probably thinking that it's a stupid 'sport' for 'dudes' with too much time on their hands and a desire to hurt themselves. And you'd be mostly right. It's also fucking great fun, and leads to many great stories and scars, and we all know chicks dig scars, according to someone who said that once in a film or something.

OK, time for another Spudgun update - I've built and fired my latest creation, using all the knowledge of the first one and a little bit more. This one absolutely fucking terrifies me, and I'm pretty sure it'll blow my hand off at some point in the near future. But that's all part of messing with spudguns, so that's no problem. Well, holy mother of fuck herself, I've updated the site. Now that I seem to have a lot more time on my hands, I've been busy trying to blow my hands off by making a spudgun - which is basically a hairspray-powered potato firing machine of fearsome potential. Doesn't sound too exciting? Well, give it a try and you'll soon be hooked on this crazy hobby. Just try not to look like a terrorist while you're doing it, OK?
